The Russian Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev visited the exhibition of the leading agricultural producers of the region during his planned working visit to Stavropol Krai. The event took place at the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
ECO-Culture APH presented at the exhibition its premium tomato crops with the best organoleptic properties. These vegetables have shown the highest Brix scale rates, which indicates high sugar content and an excellent flavor profile. Among the best crops are Red Mini Plum, Pink Grape, Yellow Cherry, Strawberry, and some others. All of them are grown without chemicals or growth stimulants. In order to increase yields and control pests, specialists use only biological and agrotechnical techniques.
The Minister also visited scientific laboratories and other facilities of the university, attended the opening of the new training center for agricultural workers, which is fitted with the latest three-dimensional modeling equipment.
The new center’s main objective is to create a favorable environment for young specialists who are dealing with new agrarian project and provide them with access to the most advanced equipment, so they could create state-of-the-art prototypes for agricultural mechanization. Dmitry Patrushev has expressed his appreciation of the center’s advanced technological level: the equipment allows to train postgraduates and students in how to use the most actual methods of engineering and to assist other research organizations at the same time.
The StSAU was founded in 1930. Today it is training about 9 thousand students, conducting studies in the spheres of hor, animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, mechanization, and agro-processing. The university has 10 faculties, where students receive all kinds of training.
