Eco-Culture expands the geographical footprint: new greenhouse complex will be built in Moscow Region

During the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi Andrei Vorobyov, the governor of Moscow Region and Valery Miroshkin, the General Director of TK Podmoskovye Ltd., signed an agreement on creation of a new greenhouse complex in Voskresensky District – the Podmoskovye.

The investments in the project will be 10 billion rubles. The estimated capacity of the complex after launching all the construction phases – 27,000 tons of vegetables per year. The project is scheduled for completion in 2020-2022.

The main profile of the Podmoskovye greenhouse complex is cultivation of tomatoes, cucumbers, and other popular vegetables based on the advanced greenhouse technologies without using chemicals for growth acceleration and protection. The complex will be launched in two phases.

Podmoskovye complex is one of the planned projects of APH Eco-Culture. The main performance indicator of the complex is 60 hectares of modern high-technology greenhouses, which rely on the latest Dutch-Finnish technology developed specifically for the protected ground. The estimated number of new jobs created is 1077.

The logistical capabilities will enable to provide Moscow and Moscow region with high-quality, healthy and environment-friendly vegetables. The choice of this particular region stems from its favorable investment climate.

Investments in the construction of the new complex will expand significantly the footprint of APH Eco-Culture in Moscow market and represents an important step in implementing the holding’s strategy of leadership in greenhouse horticulture sector of Russian economy.
