On June 23, 25, and 30 the conference was held devoted to the possibilities and prospects of “1C: Holding Management” and “1C: ERP. Holding Management” systems in solving a wide range of business tasks. Among those are the improvement of communications, monitoring of financial flows within the company, automation of routine operations and increase of employees’ free time, automated credit risk management, consolidation of budgets, and tax monitoring. Using practical cases as an example, the representatives of Russian businesses spoke about the benefits and experience of implementing a new software product from 1C at their enterprises.
Igor Gul, the Head of the IT Department, made a speech on behalf of ECO-Culture agricultural holding. The title of his presentation was “Creating a single harmonious information space in a large agro-industrial holding based on 1C: ERP.Holding Management”. Based on the steady growth of enterprise performance, Igor Gul showed how the introduction of new digital management methods influenced the results.
The report showed the situation in the company’s IT-department before the new 1C-based project of record-keeping automation was launched: in some areas (procurement, sales, budgeting, contracts) the records were not kept at all or it was organized on the outdated Excel database. The fragmented information space did not allow to manage the areas with maximum efficiency and did not meet a significant part of business needs. What was required was a large-scale restructuring.
The situation changed in 2019 when a new IT development strategy was approved, and several 1C-based projects were launched at once. Management and personnel records, document management, procurement management, financing and budgeting functions, as well as other areas were consolidated into unified systems. Meanwhile, data transmission systems have been integrated into a single network.
The results have exceeded expectations. The close-ended management record-keeping system improved business efficiency and boosted internal processes.
The unified information space has already been introduced into the holding structure since July 1, 2020 and is to be integrated with the accounting system in the future.
