ECO-Culture invests 7.8 billion rubles in the Ovoschi Chernozemya energy center

TASS agency reports that the agreement was signed during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Sergey Stolyarov, the managing director of Ovoschi Chernozemya complex (operating as a part of ECO-Culture holding), and Igor Artamonov, the Governor of Lipetsk Oblast.

Ovoschi Chernozemya is the largest indoor facility in central Russia. Year-round greenhouses with an advanced supplementary lighting system occupy an area of 86 hectares. The facility produces tomatoes of common and exclusive varieties. The growing process involves the use of biological methods solely, including growth stimulants and chemical plant protection means. By the end of 2021, the harvest at the complex reached 41.5 thousand tons.

Total investments in the construction of the first, second, and third phases of the energy center are estimated at 7.8 billion rubles.
