ECO-Culture takes part in a press conference on the Pamyat Naroda Award

The Virtual Press Center of the Public News Service held a live press conference dedicated to the All-Russian Pamyat Naroda (Memory of the Nation) Award and the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The event was attended by the representatives of public organizations, actors, producers, curators of federal educational projects, State Duma deputies, public personalities, and entrepreneurs. Among the invited participants was Larisa Yerina, the Sales Director at ECO-Culture agricultural holding.

The program host announced that a charitable program called “Spasibo Vam!” (“Thank you!”) had been launched within the scope of the events dedicated to the All-Russian Award. – During the pandemic and self-isolation in the country, couriers deliver boxes with food supplies to pensioners, veterans, large families, and all those who need help in these difficult times.

The participants of the press conference told about the support which the organizations they represent provide to the pensioners and other people in need, as well as about the difficulties that arise and the gratitude of those who have received help.

By the time of the press conference, ECO-Culture holding has already shipped dozens of tons of fresh tomatoes and cucumbers to different cities and regions of Russia and is going to keep on delivering vegetables within a month. The company has been engaged in charitable activities for many years, helping orphanages and medical institutions. Due to the deteriorating economic situation and forced self-isolation of citizens, there are more groups of citizens in need of help. In two weeks, the holding has shipped 94 tons of fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce to regions where people are looking for specific assistance. All vegetables are sent to people right from greenhouse patches – these are delicious and healthy products grown in environmentally friendly conditions without any chemicals or growth stimulants applied. In addition to philanthropic foundations, the products are delivered to hospitals to support medical professionals who are currently being under enormous pressure.

Larisa Yerina also informed that the company is ready to provide jobs to people who become unemployed during the pandemic in Moscow and Lipetsk Oblasts, as well as Stavropol Krai. At the end of her speech, the Sales Director appealed to her colleagues at the country’s greenhouse enterprises to join the charitable campaign and provide all possible assistance to people who are going through hard times. For only together can we defeat the pandemic and overcome the crisis caused by it.
