Kavkaz greenhouse complex is to be built in Mineralovodsky district of Stavropol Krai close to Pobegailovka village.
The construction will be started in December 2019. There are two phases planned – greenhouses of the first line (41.2 ha) will be launched in August 2021. The facility is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2022.
The complex will incorporate high-tech greenhouses equipped with a centralized computer control system and designed for year-round cultivation of the most popular greenhouse tomato varieties. Thanks to modern machinery and agricultural equipment that relies on the principles of environmental protection, greenhouse facilities will create an optimal microclimate for plants regardless of the climatic conditions. Just like in other ECO-Culture’s projects, only biological methods of plant cultivation and protection will be applied in the Kavkaz complex avoiding the use of growth stimulants and chemicals.
Once the project is launched, the full capacity of the complex will be 29,685 tons of vegetables per year. The total area of greenhouses will amount to 83.23 ha. The number of jobs created – 1,296.
The main feature of the initiative is going to be its orientation towards producing goods for export.
