“Ovoschi Chernozemya” greenhouse complex appears in a news piece on Lipetsk TV

The “Lipetskoye Vremya” news program broadcasted a story dedicated to the memorable date. It has been 21 years since the heroic death of the Staff Sergeant Andrey Teperik who was born in Lipetsk Oblast. The man became famous for diverting the forces of the terrorists in a rough battle with those in one of the regions of Dagestan. Only thanks to him, his wounded comrades were able to escape from the gunfire. As for Andrei himself, he died in an unequal struggle, but his feat will probably be remembered forever by the people of the region.

Today, Teperik’s parents live in the village of Novoye Dubovoye in Lipetsk Oblast. Every so often, the Serge Sergeant’s colleagues pay them a visit to offer whatever assistance they can and thank them warmly for their son. Another memorial visit took place on April 22, 2021. This time, however, the OMON and Rosgvardia officers were not alone but accompanied by the representatives of the “Ovoschi Chernozemya” greenhouse complex. Located in Usmanskiy District of the region, the enterprise is a member company of ECO-Culture holding.

The visitors did not come empty-handed: as a gift to the hero’s parents, they brought a new-model washing machine and a basket full of vegetables grown in the complex. The funds for the new appliances were allocated from the budget of the greenhouse facility to give Teperik’s family a nice surprise. Just like other enterprises of the agricultural holding, the Lipetsk branch also regularly offers financial support for all those in need.

Alexander Snimshchikov, the Executive Manager of the greenhouse complex, explains that the gift made to the parents of the deceased hero is meant to make their everyday life easier. The company cannot remain indifferent to the fate of the region and its residents.

As the authors of the episode also pointed out, this was not the first act of goodwill on the part of “Ovoschi Chernozemya”. Many people remember the company organizing the delivery of vegetables to hospitals and clinics in Lipetsk as part of the #We’re Together campaign and also providing the elderly people with food supplies.

Clearly, the enterprise’s vision is to support those in need as best they can, and on an ongoing basis, too. The organization is determined to continue its participation in charitable projects in the future.
